Orlando get-together in Amsterdam: a report

Yesterday evening (Monday, June 13), hundreds of gays & lesbians & others gathered at the Homomonument in Amsterdam to mourn for the victims of the shooting in club Pulse, Orlando, Florida, a day before. 49 Club visitors died in the attack.

At the Homomonument, candles were lit and flowers laid.
Around 8.30pm, the crowd walked to Dam Square, to see the rainbow colours being projected on the facade of the Royal Palace. Hundreds of people watched the lights be turned on, in the presence of a large rainbow flag and an American flag.

Here are some pictures of the event.
