A new dance piece by the GrossDanceCompany will premiere on January the 18th. This premiere takes place in the Bellevue Theatre in Amsterdam. The piece is titled ‘What do we know’ and is created by Sagi Gross and Jeroen Fransen. It is inspired by stories of LGBT refugees from Syria. They coupled these stories to the famous story The Process by Franz Kafka. The performance is an expression of the dangers and dilemma’s LGTB Syrian refugees face. Next to that it is also a reflection on how life is for them at refugee camps in Europe.
When can you see it?
On January the 17th you can watch the try out at the Bellevue Theatre. And on 18th of January the official world premier is at the same venue. You can buy tickets for €17,50 at this site.
You have another opportunity on the 25th of January at the Ostade theater (tickets here for €15,-).
