Bed and Breakfast places are popular in Amsterdam and among its visitors. More and more gay men are inspired by the well-known B&B’s in the UK and started up their own business in Amsterdam.
Bed and Breakfast sites
The popularity of websites of Airbnb, Wimdu and Booking.com also stimulate locals to rent out rooms. MisterBnB is even a specific B&B site for gay men and gay (friendly) B&B hosts.
One word of warning though: unless your host has a specific B&B license, a host is not allowed to rent out a space for more than 60 days a year and to a maximum of 4 people at the same time. The city now actively checks these rules. So when your host breaks the rules, the city will close down the business immediately. You will have to find a new place to stay on your own.
Bed and Breakfast women?
We are actively looking for addresses who cater for lesbian tourists, but haven’t found them yet.

Erik's gay Bed and Breakfast Amsterdam
A small, one guest bed & breakfast at outside of the city centre. The gay owner lives and works at home, but as a photographer he has regular outdoor assignments. So with just you as a guest it is a very relaxed and quiet B&B. Adding to the relaxed atmosphere is the sunny terrace and the 'clothing optional' policy in the entire house.
The house is about 30 minutes by tram (tramline 1) from the city centre in a modern neighborhood. For those traveling by car to Amsterdam, there is the added bonus that parking is free in this area.
