April 30 is party time: the Netherlands, and especially Amsterdam, celebrates the Queen's birthday, which is in January. Confused? So are we. Streets become the decor for huge garage sales, there's music and dancing everywhere, crowds move (or not), go with the flow and enjoy our version of Mardi Gras.

For more than 25 years Dolly Bellefleur is her own self: witty, compassionate, sharp and above all adorable. Writing her own texts, singing her own songs with her own voice she is not your avarage drag queen. And did we mention her dresses? She has her own couturier to (over)dress her.
