- Albert Cuyp market typical Amsterdam daily market, closed on Sunday. Albert Cuypstraat, trams 16, 24, 25.
- Noordermarkt: 'farmer' markets. Great products, quite expensive, but good food for your money. Don't miss the mushrooms (to eat). Only Saturdays. Noordermarkt, tram 3 bus 18, get out at 'Willemsstraat'.
- Markets in Zuid Oost (the 'Bijlmer'): Great markets, where you can taste the melting pot of Amsterdam, Afican vegetables, Indian spices, South American cuisine.
