Hello Dolly!

Published by johan on Wed, 02/15/2012 - 14:00

Everyone loves Dolly and now it's official: Dolly Bellefleur is Amsterdam's Sweetheart.
For more than 25 years Dolly Bellefleur is her own self: witty, compassionate, sharp and above all adorable. Writing her own texts, singing her own songs with her own voice she is not your avarage drag queen. And did we mention her dresses? She has her own couturier to (over)dress her.

Dutch dancer, choreographer, writer and artistic director Rudi van Dantzig died last week at the age of 78.
Van Dantzig started dancing late but then became very succesfull as dancer and later as choreographer of some 50 still performed ballets. One of his best known ballets is 'Monument for a deceased boy'. For Rudolph Nureyev he created three ballets. Together with Hans van Maanen and Toer van Schayk he was responsible for the remarkable quality of Dutch modern ballet.
