Club Exit temporarily exit

After months of soap opera quality insults, lawsuits, suspicions and paper articles the brewery closed down Club Exit on April 6th 2010. Club Exit is a popular hangout for gay men in the Reguliersdwarsstraat.

There seems to be a string of companies between the brewery and the owner of the building and one or some of them don't pay the rent. So much seems to be clear. Also Café April is threatened to be closed down, together with a string of straight café's and pubs. It seems to be only temporarily, till someone pays the rent - but we have no idea what temporarily means in this case. We will keep you informed of progress.
